Jamie Foxx has been recruited to play Little John in Robin Hood: Origins, Lionsgate’s revamp of the classic English tale. He joins Kingsman: The Secret Service star Taron Egerton, who plays the title role, and Eve Hewson (Bridge of Spies), who is set to play Maid Marian.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way is producing the project which will be directed by Otto Bathurst. Filming for Robin Hood: Origins is expected to begin this fall.
