Plot Summary
A diverse group of Los Angelenos navigate their way through romance and heartbreak over the course of one Valentine’s Day. Couples and singles experience the pinnacles and pitfalls of finding, keeping or ending relationships in a day in the life of love.
Jamie Foxx’s Character
Jamie Foxx plays Kelvin Moore, a sports reporter who hates Valentine’s Day. He has been sent out by his producer Susan (Kathy Bates) to do a love-related segment because of a lack of sports news.
Kelvin is not really a fan of Valentine’s Day. His boss wants him to get out there and find happy, romantic stories—that old school ‘Will you be my valentine?’ nonsense. But he wants to be taken more seriously as a sports journalist. He’s just waiting for his break—that one big interview – Jamie Foxx describes his character.
