Netflix has released a new sci-fi superhero movie Project Power on August 14 and fans can’t get enough of it.
The movie has become the latest Netflix movie to top the platform’s list of most-watched titles on its opening weekend.
Jamie took to Instagram to thank fans:

Project Power focuses on a drug dealer (Dominique Fishback), police officer (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and former soldier (Jamie Foxx) that team up to stop the distribution of a pill that gives the user superpowers for five minutes.
Fans already demanding a sequel, and the movie’s writer has even admitted that he has plenty of ideas for where the story could be headed next.
Screenwriter Mattson Tomlin told Polygon.com:
We ended up where we ended up in, in large part because we wanted to be able to go somewhere in the event that we’re lucky enough to do sequel. For me, [Power] is urban legend and people aren’t quite sure. And that means there’s a very exciting opportunity: How does the world change once everybody knows that this exists? It will change the fabric of how all of life is potentially lived. And I think that that’s a really cool place to go.
Project Power is out on Netflix now.
