Today, December 27, marks the 10th anniversary of the release of Jamie Foxx’s sophomore album, Unpredictable!
The record became a multi-platinum chart-topper, making Jamie only the fourth artist ever to win an Oscar for acting and have a number one album.
Unpredictable features musical contributions from Ludacris, Mary J. Blige, Kanye West, Common, Twista, The Game and Snoop Dogg. The album was promoted by singles including the title-track “Unpredictable”, “DJ Play a Love Song”, “Can I Take U Home” and “Extravaganza”.
To date, the album has sold 1.98 million copies in the United States, and was certified double Platinum by the RIAA.
