Jamie Foxx will receive a 2015 Texas Medal of Arts Awards from the Texas Cultural Trust.
The awards are handed out every two years. This was the eighth set of honors, recognizing Texans who have made powerful contributions to the arts industry. Jamie will be honored alongside other talented Texans, including T Bone Burnett (music) and Chandra Wilson (television) on Feb. 25 at the Long Center for the Performing Arts in Austin.
