‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ DVD/Blu-ray release date announced

Sony has announced details for the home video release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 which will be available digitally August 5 and on DVD and Blu-ray August 19. It will be released in a few configurations, including the traditional DVD/BD combo, and a 3D release as well.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a massive hit. The sequel just crossed the $700 million mark worldwide this weekend.
