Jamie Foxx has joined his friend Ozwald Boateng to ring the NASDAQ opening bell on Thursday (September 26) in New York City.
The Oscar-winning actor and UK-based fashion designer and co-founder of Made In Africa Foundation visited the NASDAQ MarketSite to celebrate the launch of a new $500 million project development fund, called Africa50, which is backed by the African Development Bank.
This is a great project and I’m delighted to be here to support it. Everyone has worked so hard to get this off the grounds and I hope it marks the start of something big for the continent – said Jamie Foxx.
