Jamie Foxx was seen filming scenes with Quvenzhane Wallis for their new flick, Annie in the Tribeca area of New York City on Wednesday.
The movie in the updated version of the musical of the same name, which in turn is based upon the 1924 comic strip Little Orphan Annie by Harold Gray. Foxx plays Benjamin Stacks, a variation on the classic character Olivier “Daddy” Warbucks. The movie also stars Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale, as well as Cameron Diaz as Miss Hannigan. It has a scheduled release date of December 19, 2014.
