Jamie attends charity events

Jamie Foxx looked sharp in a black suit while attending the 17th annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball at a private Mandeville Canyon estate in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 02.

Over the years, the ball has helped raise $15 million to help individuals out of poverty and homelessness the tools necessary to find and retain employment.

The next day, Foxx performed at the National Capital Area “A Cinderella Ball” at the Willard InterContinental Hotel in Washington, D.C.

A Cinderella Ball gives middle and high school students with disabilities or life-threatening illnesses the opportunity to attend a prom event, which is not always available to them. The ball is organized by the House Inc. Student Leadership Center, an education nonprofit group focused on youth development.

In a statement, Jamie said, “I’m honored to collaborate with The House Student Leadership Center to empower its youth as they take another step toward building a kinder world.”
