The first trailer for a new series starring Jamie Foxx and Jay Pharaoh, White Famous, has been released.
White Famous focuses on a talented, young African-American comedian, Floyd Mooney (Saturday Night Live alum Jay Pharoah), whose star is rising, forcing him to navigate the treacherous waters of maintaining his credibility as he begins to crossover toward becoming “white famous.”
The first season will consist of 10 episodes, and will be executive produced by Foxx. He will also have a recurring role as a fictional version of himself.
White Famous is scheduled to debut on Showtime on Sunday, October 15 at 10 p.m. ET. Watch the trailer below.
